Steve Black

Steve Black, President of The Accurate Group of Texas, has responsibility over the Texas title and closing service center including oversight of the National Closing Operation located in Houston, Texas. Steve brings to Accurate over 20 years of experience in the title and settlement services industries. He began his career with Stewart Title gaining responsibilities over diverse areas including technology, sales, property valuations, as well as high volume title operations. He later became President of National Closing Solutions (a Placer Title company) helping them expand into national settlement services. Responsibilities there included establishing multi-state title agency licensing, building a national appraisal panel, and establishing reseller relationships for AVMs and flood determinations. Steve’s most recent service prior to Accurate was with Fiserv Lending Solutions where he was recruited to build a Texas settlement service center.
